河川沿いにある戸建て住宅。戦後~経済成長期に形成された街並みに新たな建物が混在したエリアにあり、間口が7m奥行きが25mある敷地。東西二方に接道があるが西側(路地側)は2.5m程度の幅員であるため駐車場は東側(河川側)となる。クライアントの要望は【大人も子供も楽しめる庭】【プライバシーが確保されるリバービュー】であった。
敷地は50坪を超え建ぺい率が80%であったためビルトインガレージの上の河川側にインナーガーデンを提案した。開口部にルーバーを設置することでプライバシー・採光・換気を確保し、2階部分に庭を設置することで河川沿いを歩く多くの人から視線を逸らしている。LDKや主寝室からも河川を感じることが出来るように計画した。
This is a detached house located along a riverbank. The area has a streetscape formed 40 to 80 years ago, with new buildings being constructed in recent years. The plot is 7 meters wide and 25 meters deep. While there are roads on both the east and west sides, the western side's alley is only about 2.5 meters wide, so the parking area is positioned on the eastern side, facing the river. The client's requests were for a garden enjoyable for both adults and children, along with a river view that ensures privacy.
With a plot size exceeding 170 square meters and a building coverage ratio of 80%, an inner garden was proposed on top of the built-in garage facing the river. Louvers were installed on openings to ensure privacy, daylighting, and ventilation. Additionally, a garden was planned on the second floor to avoid the gaze of pedestrians walking along the riverbank. The design also allows for the river to be felt from the living, dining, and kitchen area as well as the main bedroom.
